Undergraduate Research in Mathematics

Undergraduates students working in world renowned research groups in the school have contributed to research that has been presented at national and international conferences, and published in leading scholarly journals. For example:

• Undergraduate Michael Music’s research with Professor Evans Harrell on quantum graphs was presented at the Joint Mathematics Meetings held in San Francisco.

Michelle Delcourt appeared as a coauthor on the paper “Discrete Bernoulli Convolutions: An Algorithmic Approach Toward Bound Improvement” published in the Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society.

Antonio Blanca participated in a summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates. He presented his work at the Joint Mathematics Meetings, in New Orleans. This work was also accepted for publication in the SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics.
